What is Loka.FM?
Loka.FM is a service that streams FM stations from India.
Is it free?
Yes, Loka.FM is currently a free service for everyone.
Am I hearing this live?
Well, that depends on where you are. If you are in India or in a timezone same as India, you hear the relay
with a 30 minute delay.
If you are in a timezone ahead of India (For ex. Australia), you hear the relay of the previous day at the same time.
If you are in a timezone behind India (for ex. United States), you will hear what played at that moment in time. For ex.
if you are in United States and hearing Loka at 9:00 AM on Feb 26th, you will hear the exact program that was played in India
on Feb 26th 9:00 AM. We do this so that listeners get to hear the prime time programs as it happened.
Why do you only have Chennai FM channels?
Well, we are from Chennai and decided to start off with that. But, we are actively working on
launching channels from other cities too. You will see new cities being added on a regular basis (every month).
Why do I need to register?
We ask you to register with us since we are in the Beta phase and want to better understand our customer needs.
How can I let you know of any bugs or general feedback?
Just click on the feedback link that appears on the left and submit your feedback. We review this on a regular basis and
we will provide you with an update.
Why is there no way to change my password?
We will be adding this in our next release (Feb 29 2009).
